Dear Dave,

Again, many thanks for your help last week with VIGILANT. We managed a fair-weather and uneventful eight-knot, three-day passage to San Diego, arriving Sunday evening. The boat is presently entrusted to the Driscoll family at their Shelter Island yard, and is being worked on.

You provided the corrobrative ballpark analysis which dulled the sharp edge of stability roll uncertainty and allowed us to proceed offshore. Thanks.

I would enjoy working with you again in the future and will remember your facility with reverse polish notation.
